What is Play-Talk: Play your way into empathy and better communication?

Play-Talk introduces any healthcare provider, through play, practical opportunities to reflect on personal communication and gain perspective taking opportunities. This level of training is applicable to a wide range of professionals and peer helpers. Participants will review critical research on the importance of communication and empathy, as well as play with the Empathy Toy.

What happens in Play-Talk?

Who leads the training?

Play-Talk is led by facilitators and staff working with the Choose Health program at SRCHC.

Who developed the program?

Play-Talk has been co-designed by SRCHC’s Choose Health staff and facilitators trained in motivational interviewing and health literacy training.
